Not a great picture, but this is the Nato I wear mine with most of the time.

Personal opinion - I don't think divers and leather straps are a particularly good match. The watch is meant to be worn in the water, leather straps are not. Now I know most diver never see the bottom of a kiddie pool and they even make 'waterproof' leather straps but it still strikes me as a style faux pax. There are many other options out there that look great anyway - blue silicone, NATO's, even a mesh.

PS- I know lots of people do wear leather with divers, I've seen some that look good, too. It's just not a way I want to go - I'm not insulting anyone and/or their watch-strap combo.

None of these are my pictures. All these look pretty good. I would personally wear it on perlon. A chronissimo strap may look decent too.

Heh, no insult or offense taken. I used to feel the same way but had a change of heart and now wear divers on leather. Agreed, we know it's irrational but somehow works for many of us. I do keep one or two on rubber, the ones I actually dive or swim with.

TBH I think it looks best on a bracelet. Put it on an all blue (dark) Nato for a change of gear though.

    Re: Watch Strap Suggestions

I would say due to the very generous lug size a Hirsch Medici fitted strap may look amazing, I have one on a watch and it totally upgrades what it otherwise a novelty watch. It's available in a few colours. Thinking dark brown would work?

I'm not feeling the perlon but the nato and leather look really good on it.

    I'd consider one of these.

Perlon may not look the best but comfort wise, it blows everything else out of the water, at least to me. I have never worn a more comfortable strap then my eulit perlon and I have worn many from $5 straps to $500 straps.

    Re: Watch Strap Suggestions

OP, I would also leave it on the original ss bracelet but below are some suggestions. Hirsch have performance straps that are leather on the outside and rubber on the inside. Check out Watch Obsession. I believe they have free shipping this weekend only. I think they are also sponsors here. The photos below are from their files.

You can also send them a photo of your watch and they can offer you suggestions. I have dealt and bought from them before and they have been very gracious and accomodating. Who knows you might even get a discount being a WUS member.

    Good luck.
