    Watch tags.

OK, I did a search and I didn’t find any thread specific about those li’l “badges” that come stringed on that watch you’ve just purchased or have been waiting a week+ to arrive in y’old mailbox better known as “tags.” Some are cardboard, some are plastic . . . other material?

So, maybe it’s a small (pardon the pun) or a big thing to you. And, I kinda’ know that I’m not alone in putting a priority on watch tags. In any case, let’s get the opinions out there! Heh, give stories too!

Vote and, not only for “Other,” but, explain as needed (i.e., if you chose “Are you kidding? I protect it as much as I protect the watch itself!” mention if you’ll put the cardboard tag in some kind of acid-free transparent sleeve or make sure the plastic tag is placed in the home away from where sun could shine on it; OK, after having read that, I guess you know I do that, now; who’s with me!?).

Mine just go in the box, or container that the watch came in, and are stored away for future use when selling.

    Re: Watch tags.

If it's there, great. If not, I still have the watch, the warranty card, any other paper stuff that came with it, the inner and outer box, and the plastic thing on the case back, right?

The way I look at it, if it came from an AD, then it has spent time in a case, and has been tried on/fondled by a number of strangers. If the tag is all that is lost, I'm way ahead of the game!

    Of course, that's just me!

I keep mine too, but with out the intention of selling.
