The intricate moving parts are the magic of a mechanical watch. Looking for some examples of watches that have some or all of the inner-workings viewable through the dial. HOWEVER, important clarification - not interested in designs that significantly compromise readability. Probably best explained by pictures. The El Primero below gives us a little look at what's under the hood while still offering a readable design. In contrast, we see a lot more from the Hublot but the thing is completely unreadable.
- View of the inner-bits while still being readable
- Prefer more a sport model on a bracelet over a dressier watch on leather
- Prefer NOT chronograph, but interested in seeing anything
- Prefer price under $7500, but interested in seeing anything
Examples - El Primero YES (readable), Hublot NO (not readable)
