    i'm sorry -was he saying that ? all i saw was some pompous blog about how some guy has discovered nato straps !! they have been around since ww1

    Yeah and next week every watch manufacturer will announce they are making no watches over 38mm... :)

    NATOs are just ramping up but when they become even more widespread the WIS may run away from them like the plauge.

    saw a kid in my office coupla months ago who was wearing a toywatch sub 'homage' on a black/red nato...

    Even if shunned by the WIS, I myself, will continue to wear them for the comfort and function. I really enjoy my Victorinox DM 500 on nato strap for my normal business casual attire. Its fun, fashionable ( I can compliment my attire), comfortable, and mostly functional. I find it amusing when I rediscover older tech that is exceeds modern norms.
