Well it Took a Whopping 6 Days for My Resolution Bust

Well I technically didn't bust my resolution since I didn't say I would quit buying watches all together but I did resolve to "calm down". After a wild '13 selling 8 and buying 4, 6 days into '14 and I get this:

Its my first Tag Heuer. Actually I didn't envision my first Tag to be this model, always liked it but never owned or will own a MB SLR so I thought it was not appropriate. I have to say the build quality and attention to detail on this thing is awesome, I am really enjoying this piece. Unfortunately I already found myself continuing to cruise the forums for my next buy...hopeless.

Well I have to say I am proud to be a member of this great forum along with the rest of your crazies! Hope all of you have a healthy and safe 2014 and may you all be able to buy all the watches you can comfortably afford.

congratulations on the beautiful pick up. Don't worry too much about breaking your resolution at least there's always next year to try again lol :)

Since I went hard on getting my grail once and for all before 2013 ended, my resolution was to quit buying and start saving for a change. Along with that promise i also said I'd be content with what i already have and no longer lust for the ones i can't have. I kept my grail and 2 other watches and sold everything else her on wus 2 days ago. Can't promise it will hold up but we'll see...the true test is now having money from all those sales and not buying another watch :)

I know the feeling. I bought a Raven Vintage 42mm on 1/1/14. I sold it yesterday. Not a good start to setting a new tone for a new year.

This is the part that does me in, having funds from sales just begs to be spent! Really not sure how you're staying sane right now?!

Well that's still 5 days longer than most resolutions last...

Thanks for the best wishes. The same right back to you.
I've long ago stopped making resolutions. They usually meant quitting something that I enjoyed,...and I'd do that why??!!
Besides, I don't have vices, I have watches!!

Nice looking watch. Don't worry about the resolution thing - it's a well known fact that any resolutions made that involve watches don't really count.
