What current production watches will have the best patina after 10+ years daily wear?

##Longtime lurker, first time poster alert!##

Who cares what a watch looks like brand new?

Which watches are going to look great down the road after being rode hard and put away wet for a few years?

We've seen plenty of examples of how well SKX's, Speedmasters, and Explorers can age..that's the benefit of models that don't change all that much. But what new watches do you think are going to look great when they're not-so-new?

Tudor BB36 seems like a clear contender for this, as well as several Sinn offerings. What do you all think?

Bonus points to anyone posting photos of Grand Seikos aging gracefully -- I'd love to see some with a bit of wabi-sabi on them!

I don’t think 10 years is enough time for good patina. 2o maybe. I have seen some nice subs and omegas of that vintage with great patina.

It takes even less time with the Laco Memmingen Erbstuck. (Please place umlaut denying emoticon here.)

Wear that which you feel is groovy, get down with your bad self, and shake your money maker if it makes sense for you to do so.

I do not know but I am hoping this does develop patina, because I wear this most often.

The omega moon watch and the Panerai 372 with the plexiglass. The more scratches the plexiglass get the cooler the 372 look

Maybe a bronze cased watch. Such as the new C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600 from ChristopherWard

I would say it would have to be a diver/sports model, as nothing like some patina on a bezel insert. I am hesitant about the new subs and how the ceramic bezel will look with patina, but considering it's a Rolex, you can count on the vintage market being pretty strong, so however it looks, people will say it looks good.

Vintage Seikos to me always look good. I had a co-worker who had a quartz pepsi 7548 he'd owned since new, and the bezel had faded to a nice pink/light blue.

modern speedmasters have no tritium, but... here's an old (DON) bezel placed over a speedy.
