    What a difference!

Had a new crystal fitted on my old 1024. I'm very happy with the result!

Such a nice watch deserves a clean crystal. Enjoy!

It's interesting that Rolex called their watches "perpetual" instead of "automatic".

So they didn't gold plate the case while they were fitting it then?

It's amazing the difference a new crystal can make by getting rid of all those "scratch-shadows" on the dial and I do like that watch - an understated Rolex that doesn't try to shout what it is or imitate a cheap knock-off

That is a very nice watch. Very nice. So much so, that I just purchased a Baume/Mercier Classima, and before I take delivery I may tell the dealer to take it back and instead get me a Cellini, or an oyster with a leather band.
