What to do to with useless watches that you sorry about.

Few years ago I picked up watch (implusive decision) and few days realised that I completely hate it.

The watch is stuck with me and I cannot sell it because nobodody wants it. It is

    TX 600 Flyback chronograph.

    Any similar expiriences?

    Donate.

Or give it away at Christmas along with the fruitcake from last year.

Or there is a "pay it forward" thread here, you could just gift it to a fellow forum member and possibly pickup a new or used strap or bracelet, just search for "pay it forward"

I would use it as a watch to tell time. Pretty much the opposite of what I do with my grail watches.

Its hard to read and looks on my hand like train clock. There was a brief moment when I really liked design of Perellet Turbine so I picked something that remotley looks like it. Still regret it.

Love the "pay it forward" option. Do that.

At the beginning I used those type of watches as practice. Opening up casebacks, removing and changing batteries, general disassembly and reassembly, things I wanted to get better at doing. I wrecked a bunch of this way but I got much better with watches tools and modding in the process.

For now, I would keep it as a memento of Timex Group’s launch of a propriety line of quartz watches, through their now-defunct subsidiary TX Watch Company, for that someone who may value that part of Timex’s history.
