What to do when you are scammed on WUC?

i got scammed this week. A guy sold me a watch, but sent a different model - different movement (7s26) rather than real.

does watch you seek have a complaints policy? Am I protected in any way?

Re: What to do when you are scammed on WUC?

Watchuseek (WUS, not WUC) was not a party to your transaction. If you used Paypal, you have recourse through their system. If the seller was a frequent poster of the site, you may have some influence on him if he wants to keep a clean reputation.

But first: Contact seller and see what you can work out. He may not know that he sold you something other than what he advertised. Perhaps you are mistaken as well. Are you suggesting that a 7S26 movement is something other than a real movement? It's an inexpensive movement, but it is real. Are you saying you received a fake 7S26? Or was the movement represented as something other than a 7S26, and that's what you got?

I'm not sure you were clear here. DID you get something with a 7S26 that was supposed to have something else? Was it supposed to have a 7S26 and it came with something else? What was the watch? Please clarify.

It seems, he's been wanting to buy a Dagaz Tsunami, whatever that is?

Ok, so you wanted to buy a Dagaz Tsunami or Cav 1. What did you actually receive?

My guess is a Dagaz Zero. Common mistake by a lot of folks who don't research enough before selling or buying.
