What do you do with your old watches stock when you get your first grail watch ?

What do you guyz do with your old watches stock when you get your first grail watch ? Just got my first Omega Seamaster and it seems that it will stay on my wrist for a long time before I can afford something else, in the higher-end direction I hope so.
But what about the old watches that served me through years! I have couple of Tissots, Hamiltons, Cerruti -when they used to be swiss made- couple of vintage Russian divers from the 70s and 80s and even a couple from Adidas
I don't feel like selling them, they wont worth much after all, and they carry sentimental value!

[Update]: here is a photo for my new acquired SM as requested :)

There comes a time in every watch’s life when it’s time to retire but until that happens the rota keeps them hard at it - grail or no grail.

What...? A brand new SM and no pix... what the hell??!!

Been on here 4 1/2 years and less than 30 posts?? Again... wtf?

Now, to answer your question. I have obtained about 3 grails and have only sold a couple of watches. That leaves about 250 in the collection and there hasn't been a day that goes by that I regretted selling those 2 watches!

Give them away to family, friends or charity.

    Keep them
    Store them
    Gift them
    Sell them

There many things you can do with them, including telling time

Put them away in a box. When they make you angry to look at, sell them.
I have a box of watches I liked at some point but are no longer in the rotation. Every now and again I'll wear one for one day, then put it back in the box and return to the grail (or the few I keep in a rotation). Their value isn't keeping me from getting something else I want, so they'll stay there.
Besides, in 20 years, the Seiko automatic chronographs I bought for under $1000 will probably be worth tens of thousands of dollars like those stupid Heuers and Universals I practically gave away in the 90's.
    Not bitter.

    Okay, yes, very bitter.

I’ll hold onto them, hopefully I can get my kids into the hobby one day. I think a hamilton khaki field, orient bambino, Seiko anything would be a great way to start them!

Sell what I will not wear again and put receipts toward the fund for the next grail.
Hang on to 1 or 2 for use as weekend sports watch or as a beater.
We may be lost but we're making good time.

Re: What do you do with your old watches stock when you get your first grail watch ?

I sold almost all of my old watches to help fund my grail(s.) The only ones I kept were a Mido Multifort (gave it to my dad) and my Ball Trainmaster Moonphase (my 1st "expensive" watch)
