What do you think of the new DST dates?

Personally, I would like to stay on DST all year. And is this change just for the USA or other countries?

With how messed up all this time changing is, I say we pick one time and just stick with it!

The dates that the time is changed. For example, it goes up an hour on March 11 instead of late April like it used to.

I hate DST because you can't keep track of time in Southern hemisphere and it ruins the ease of reading a World Timer.

My dislike is very selfish and non-watch related. Being an IT guy, our group is now tasked with resolving this issue throughout our entire PC workstation and server environment. Microsoft has issued all the appropriate patches but it's still a PITA!

Keeping on topic, I'm bummed that the few quartz pieces I have that incorporate automatic DST adjustment will not function properly...save for those atomic clocks!

Anyone else hear the reason for the change? I understand that the government made this happen in order to save on energy bills, across the board?
