What do you think of the size?

Just got an Ariso flieger. 42mm. I have a fairly small wrist, 6.5ish inches. What do you all think? Too big or ok?

Pushing the envelope of being too large, but is OK I guess.

The NATO strap adds to the visage of being too large.

I think it looks great. Pilot watches are meant to wear large, imo.

I have two flieger watches, 42mm like yours and 43mm, which I think is perfect size for this type of dial, but that NATO sticking out like that indeed makes it look bigger for your wrist.

You definitely would not want it to be any larger, but when you put it on a strap, I think it should look just fine. The fact that it is a blasted case gives it a more toolish feel and makes the size seem more justifiable than it would if you had a IWC or Stowa on your wrist that looked this large.

Not the right strap for you. Try something slimmer than a nato, even a maratac mil series.

The watch size is fine, but I'd second to try a different strap option. I have similar sized wrists and 3/6 of my current watches are 42mm.

Looks like it rides low on your wrist, almost onto your hand...which would be very uncomfortable for me...

Unless you're actually flying Heinkels it's on the big side. It would work well enough for a casual situations, but looks jarringly out of placed on a shirt with cuffs due to the large, high-contrast / purpose-specific (toolish) dial. I agree with the others regarding strap options.

Actually I think it depends on your forearm which is hidden. You don't need Stallone's forearm but an adequately developed forearm will improve the effect considerably IMO.
