What do you use to clean your watch from daily debris?

I have an all black PVD coated watch and it picks up debris as the day goes along. I've been cleaning it with cotton swabs very gently. Are the cotton swabs a good idea? Should I be using some sort of microfiber cloth? What do you use?

    Thanks!

Other than wiping the crystal with a clean cloth every once in while I really don't do much cleaning of any of my watches. That finish will wear more from ongoing contact with shirt and coat sleeves and everything else than a soft wipe with a cotton swab, microfiber cloth or kitchen towel.

Is the watch waterproof? If so, Veraet watch spray....Great stuff...IMHO
Been using it for over a year or two.

I use a cleaning cloth for glasses or a paper towel with either glass cleaner or spray rubbing alcohol

Watchmaker's air blower to remove any tiny abrasive particles that might be on the glass. Water to clean the rest of the watch and microfiber cleaning cloth to wipe them down.

I use eyeglass cleaner (which seems to be isopropyl alc and water) sprayed on a microfiber cloth to remove primarily body oil and the dead cells I've given up. I figure if it's safe for the materials and lens coatings on glasses, it should be OK for watches. Jewelers use it to clean precious metal rings daily, I'm told. I've read that the alc can damage gaskets, so I do not spray the watch, just the cloth. Since mine are on straps, the shower method isn't an option. I hear only good things about LBF's suggestion: Veraet. But have yet to figure how to buy it at a reasonable price (refills of my eyeglass cleaner are free).
