What does it mean to say a Watch has " Wrist Presence"?

I've always wondered what this means... I've heard people say this a lot, that a particular watch has a lot of wrist presence.. Is it the size of the watch? Is it the finish of a watch? There are a lot of watches which seem pretty low profile, a lot of rolex subs which are on the smaller end, is it the brand?

I'm just wondering what makes a watch " Pop" and have " Wrist Presence"?
    Thanks

Fair question...I don't know really - something big and shiny, I guess.

To me it means drama, something that stands out.
When someone says that a car has road presence they usually mean something that looks aggressive.

To me it means any watch, big or small, that is likely to get noticed for whatever reason in a good way.....not a bad one........an eye-catcher.

Did someone mention some more wrist presence?

I thought they'd all been opened for this year already

An attention grabber, for whatever reason, usually size and/or finish. For those not content to restrict their viewing pleasure to themselves ;)

Guess it's the look, uniqueness of the timepiece. It's the look + finish, the overall design. Not taking into, consideration on the horology stuff.

I don't think finish comes into it. It's a first glance kinda thing.

I would say small yet well-designed. It looks to the average person as if it were very valuable.

    I believe it's more of "love @ 1st sight".
I like my money right where I can see it: strapped to my wrist.
