Smile What dress watch do you suggest for the budget of $1600

    Happy new year guys,

I am planning to buy a dress watch and my budget is around $1600.

Would love to hear your suggestions.

    My preference:

    • Brownish leather strap.
    • White or Silver dial.
    • 38 to 42mm width.
    • Round shape.

I have been looking around for the past weeks and got an itch for these watches:

    Appreciate your feedbacks mates.

Nomos orion comes to mind but its too small. The datum is the right size but too expensive, maybe you can find a used one for the right price.

Stowa could work I think - the Marine isn't strictly a dress watch, but it's pretty close, its certainly dressy, and right in your price range.
    Daily Rotation:
    Seiko
"Save the Ocean" Turtle; Tudor Black Bay; DOXA 1000T Project Aware (75/92); Seiko SKX013; Garmin Descent; Tissot PRS200

Hey thanks! I love Nomos watches and heard lots of good things about them, but their price is really out of budget. I would buy their Zürich Weltzeit without a second thought if I have the cash!

You can actually get a Classima Chronograph used in your budget.

I love the Christopher Ward C9 (even if it does look a bit like the IWC Portugese)

If you decide square is an option, this is a PHENOMENAL watch and in your price range (Maurice Lacroix Pontos Rectangulare Reserve De Marche):

White, round, 39mm Tissot Le Locle. Comes with bracelet or black leather; buy a nice aftermarket brown strap, comes in way below your max.

I'll throw it on here - this is the manual wind variety - ie. the Original, and the closest to the old observation watches. You can also get an automatic version (for less money). 940 Euros, and 680 Euros respectively.

Nomos Club, its not a dress model, but it could be worn in a dressier setting and is very affordable (comparatively.)
    Collection:
    Vacheron Constantin Overseas
    JLC Deep Sea Chrono
    Breguet Marine Grande Date
    Tudor Black Bay Black
    Omega Speedmaster 3570.50

Not so...$1500 gets you a Club with no problem. The Zurich, though, is a different matter!
