Off Topic post What Dress Watches with Small Seconds do you know? [+big date optional]

EDIT >> I changed the title to small seconds + OPTIONAL big date, as frankly, I am seeking for a possible runner-up of the Zenith below.

    Hello awesome fellas,

Lately I see myself heading for a dress watch. The more I look at them, the more I am convinced I want a small second dress watch.

As some of you may already know, in my list the grail of them all is the Zenith Ultra Thin 40mm:

The MSRP here is ~$4k though

Moving on, the other complication I love is big date. Started researching and came to a few released and a few pending release... like these:

Longines Master Collection Big Date Small Second:

Size: 54.6 KB

Marvin Malton (announced for July 2010, still MIA):

    Perrelet Big Date Small Seconds

    Armand Nicolet:

Have you come across some similar lookers to the Zenith or big date+small second dress watches? Vintages are welcome, but the size of 40mm (or more) is a deal-breaker for me, so I would appreciate any tips within that range

Love the Lange - where can I get it for less than $4k???

Now seriously - the only reason not to buy the Zenith for a dress watch is, I find the $4k ridiculously high as an asking price for a non El Primero.

I already have a Revue, and this particular one is a bit busy compared to my benchmark Zenith ;)

The Muhle is nice but German - making it a possible plan B

Keep 'em coming - small seconds is a must, big date to go with that is optional [me dumb, should have put different title, small seconds only, big date optional]

EDIT: I now changed the title to better reflect my quest. Hope this is not causing inconvenience.

Your is the same reason I bought this one. I didn't want anything too dressy as I already have a couple but this did as a nice mid-way between the two camps...

Like most WIS, I am hard to please - I dislike roman numerals...

Thank you for the ORIS reminder - these seem to have excellent reputation and I am yet to try them on (shame, the shop is so close)... Must. See. Soon.

The ML has a very "Mido" appeal when seen in person. They wish to position higher and yet, one would think they are made by the same man - classic design but somewhat off (in my eyes, this is). Please don't let my perception offend any owners out there - it is just not the brand for me, that's all
