What "Famous Watch" would you never buy?

Even if you could afford it (if you can't now.) We're talking high-end, luxury watch known for its iconic look. Whether it's the good or bad publicity is subjective, but what well-known watch would you never buy cause it's ugly or some other reason. Be it, this is very subjective. Let's keep it civil now! Me personally:

    Audemars Piguet Millenary
    Vacheron Constantin American 1921
    Ulysse Nardin Perpetual Calendar
Blancpain L-Evolution (I love their other stuff, but this is just too...bleh.)
    Chopard 201-Carat

I'll probably never be able to afford these anyways... but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Anything you just think is God-ugly or think isn't worth your cash despite its pedigree?

AP Royal Oak Offshore and the Patek Phillipe Nautilus spring to mind- both just ugly if you ask me.

    +1

"Ugly" should not command a huge premium.

Modern Rolex Submariner. I like the vintage models, but buying a new one doesn't appeal to me at all.

Movado. Mainly because I think the dial is somewhat ugly and their pricing is outrageous for what your getting.

OP means High End, unless it's a Invicta special reserve, then it could be priceless :)

As much as I try, I can't find any love for Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms.

    For shame sir, for shame.

For me, anything Rolex, with the exception of the Cellini line.

I second the Movado pieces. There are a couple I like, but the quartz, in perticular the Museum pieces, I hate. I have a friend who wears a quartz museum when we go out to eat and he flashes the thing around like it's a rolex. He brags about how expensive it is and I politely keep my thoughts to myself, most nights!
