First, I do feel a bit odd about posting this, but my curiosity is piqued.
When I started getting serious about watches in late 2008, I was doing some research on restoring a family Gallet watch. I quickly came across several of Chuck's posts and was intrigued with his small but complete Gallet collection.
Of course he was known as an Omega guy, but his tastes seemed pretty wide. It was rather sad to read among some of those postings that he had passed away earlier that year - and at only 46. He had certainly left an impression on many, and also left behind a wealth of information that has been lovingly kept alive.
I'm not sure if he had any family, and if so then these heirlooms are in good hands. I'm wondering if some of the collection was parsed out to close friends.
