    What the Kids are Wearing

You know, when I first heard the news reports starting last year that the kids are using their cell phones to tell time now rather than wearing wrist watches I was a little concerned. I mean, fashion trends like those silly baggy pants just never made sense to me but then I thought, hey what do I know? Maybe they're onto something after all. So I tried out myself:

You know what? It just doesn't work for me. Maybe if they came in 44mm....

    " For watches there's always TIME "

I was asked what the time was that was on my watch ?
Does anybody really know what time it is ?
    Does anybody really care ?
If so I can't imagine why..........
I do, I do, I do care about time.
    (Thanks R Lamm)

Hahah, too funny. That IS a strap I'd consider, though, understated, flat black .

Hate to generalize, and I hope you see my point, but, until the day we see the "cell" or what have you incorporated into watches that we here on this board enjoy (yep, the challenge is putting all that into a 39"-42" diameter that doesn't take away from the watch itself), I'll take my auto'/mech' wristwatch(es) any day in order to tell or see the time in aquatic elements and other unavoidable elements (no porta-phone yet that can survive water yet, eh?).

Hey Skweegee, welcome! It doesn't get any better than Wuseek. Absolutely THE best watch forum on the web IMO. Nice people, excellent content, reasonable moderators and the good BBS software.
