What should I expect to pay for a tissot T0636101603700 classic?

The watch I'm looking at buying had been worn perhaps 10 times and comes with all the paperwork and box. There really is little to no wear on it and is the standard brown leather strap. Is about $130 good on this?

If you can find a similar watch for sale on the Internet it will give you some sort of idea what you ought to be paying. Just beware of cheap fakes on a certain well known auction site.

Thanks for that, yes I don't have much faith on eBay but the watch I'm buying is being sold by a colleague who purchased it direct from a Tissot store.

This will be my first swiss watch and I just wanted to get a modicum of reassurance that it's about right for market value. I did look here in the classified and saw them going for the $160-$140 range.

If you are looking for a thin, Swiss quartz dress watch, have a look at this Frederique Constant, on sale for $149 on Gemnation,

Oh boy, that's a great looking watch as well. Do I need to ask the question, given the tissot I was looking to buy vs this Frederique Constant what's the better watch? Or are they essentially equal?

From what I have seen of Tissot and Frederique Constants at comparable prices, they tend to quite similar in quality, with a slight advantage to Frederique Constant. Since this particular Frederique Constant is on sale at half the normal grey market price for it, I think it's an exceptional deal.

Put another way, I just placed on order for one yesterday, as it is a quartz watch without a date and second hand, which makes it a perfect pick up and go dress watch for when I need a bit of formality, but when my gold Patek Philippe Calatrava would be overkill.

This is a real life photo of the watch. It is worth noting that only the markers at the four compass points are applied, and the other markers are printed. This seems to be the style they now used for even their higher priced Slimline automatics.

Wow that really is a nice watch so I found out I can get the Tissot fit $125, but have the other option with the Frederique Constants for only $24 more, at $149 new. This is a dilemma, but I suppose I'm not losing either way.
