I totally agree having owned both-the L.E. is still in the stable. However, I owned a Perrelet A1021-4 cushion watch for a period and the attention to detail was among the best I've seen in the price range-guilloche dial, crisply detailed coin edge, perlage polished movement with blued screws, beautifully crafted croc band and perlage polished deployant. Overall my impression was very favorable and I would certainly entertain owning another Perrelet. If you hunt around you can find them for around 25-35% of MSRP as there are plenty of grey market dealers selling them on eBay. I say go for it! The Perrelet moon phase is a beautiful timepiece and would be a nice addition to anyone's collection.

“This is a Roche Vouceau. The thinnest water-resistant watch in the world. Singularly unique, sculptured in design, hand-crafted in Switzerland, and water resistant to THREE atmospheres. It tells time simultaneously in Monte Carlo, Beverly Hills, London, Paris, Rome, and Gstaad. This is ‘THE’ sports watch of the ’80s. Six thousand, nine hundred and fifty five dollars retail.”

Gorgeous! Any idea what the ref number is on that?
Lovely design. With a 7751 I have to ask how big the case is.
I think the case on the one shown is 40mm and about 14mm thick. Also from what I can find the movt is not 7751 but cal P211, being a modified 2892.
I think it looks great. Get it!
One look and BAM! I was all over Google looking for it, ready to buy until, gulp, I realized it would take close to $5k. Blimey! I should have known...
I tried one on a little over a year back. Very distinctive, and oozes quality ... a very nice watch IMO.
