I have searched google images and have found some models that are very close but not exact. Triple calendar is right but looking for the exact model#

    Thanks

The case is probably 18k. Triple-date calendar, from the early-to-mid 1940's. Movement almost certainly hand-wind 15j unadjusted Movado Factories movement for export. Love the stepped teardrop lugs.

It looks like it is in really good condition. Is there a story behind this watch? Family heirloom perhaps?

Unlikely to find a model number. Movado simply refereed to it as a calendar watch.I think stoshman has best described it for you in the post above.

In thinking about it, this may very well have a 14k, not an 18k, case. In the 1940's the US placed heavy levies on cased watches and adjusted movements. Many Swiss companies sent their watches here uncased and/or unadjusted, with the cases supplied by the importers. Since 14k was more common (and cheaper), most of these watches wound up in 14k cases.

IIRC, then, as is now, Swiss law required 18k for gold watch cases.
