    What watch is Zizek wearing?

Zizek is seen wearing a watch (an unusual sight) at his talk at Google. What watch is this?

Screenshots don't quite capture the watch as well as seeing it in motion.

Here is a link to the talk: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_x0eyNkNpL0

    Thanks
    I enjoy collecting non-European, in-house movement, manual-wind watches.

It just looks like a bracelet to me.

Agreed... I originally watched this with the sound off (highly recommended!) and for the first minute or two only, did not realize it was an introduction. Went back and could not even stand to watch him for more than a couple of minutes! "What we know, we know. What we don't know, we don't know and what we don't know, we know". This was the most intelligent thing I could make out. He made me nucking futs! Perhaps he should take another coke break... he's higher than kite and keeps sniffing and playing with his nose.

I believe you have another agenda going on here...and it ain't about watches!

It doesn’t really matter what watch Zizek is wearing. Time itself is really just a creation of the carcarel state, a set of abstract limitations in the form is “seconds” (note the play on words here, as the “second” is really the first unit of time) that both order our perceptions and disorder our notion of sequential cause-and-effect Newtonian logic. Paul Virilio shows us that time speeds up and slows down to the pace of technological change, technology controlled by those who control the means of production. This Zizek wears a Snoopy watch, because the absurdity of life must be reflected in a playful palimpsest of “time” keeping, an absurd reflection of the universal joke of society in thrall of its own materialist fantasies.
