What is your favorite watch size?

Just curious. If this has already been discussed feel free to ignore. I still haven't figured out how to do a multiple word "and" search.

Yes it's come up before, with the consensus that it's hard to be specific about case diameter because different watch styles and designs wear differently.
I have a small wrist, my preferred size is 36mm-38mm for dressy styles with thin bezels, and 38-42 for sports/diver styles.

I voted for <40mm. I do own larger watches but the 38-40mm looks/feels the best. I have a 42mm Flieger that feels huge but its the look of the genre and is thus acceptable to me. I have a whole bunch of divers that are >40mm but that genre tends to wear small (short lugs and curved cases). It seems I have gone full circle in my watch taste and have recently gone back to the 38mm size. For what its worth my wrist is 7.5"

44mm Plus for me I have a 9.5 inch wrist so my Polprof looks normal and that is 54mm x 50mm

    Cheers

    Doubt it.

I voted 42 but could have voted 44 just as easily. I have watches down to about 33mm and up to 46mm. I love 'em all but feel the most comfortable in the 42-44mm range.

I'm curious that you just generalized anything under 40 and started your poll from that point. it implies that you think 40 is small- anyway i am looking forward to the results.

42-44 will never go but things north of 46 may disappear at some stage.

It really does depend on the purpose of the watch. Imagine a 38mm ABC watch! Many running and G-shock watches kind of need to be bigger to accomodate all the functions/protection etc. Standard analog watches should ideally be under 40, but I can see the case for a diving watch being more. I've got 190mm wrists.
