What is your opinion on Montblanc? (Montblanc Heritage Spirit Moonphase)

I went and saw the Montblanc Heritage Moonphase today and much prefer it to the JLC MUT Moon. The 39mm and 10.5mm diameter looked just right on my 6.75” wrist and I think it may be my next watch. However, you can only learn so much for a 5 minute viewing so I’d love some input.

Anyone own this watch? Have opinions about the aesthetics/price/quality of either this watch or Montblanc in general?

I do not own one, but I had them on my radar for a purchase. In the end for moonphase, I would go with an FC. I think they offer way more bang for the buck over a MB. Nothing wrong with its looks.

The FC is nice as well but isn’t it much larger at 42mm? I know they ended up releasing a 39mm version but from what I’ve read they used the same Moonphase disc from the larger version so the window cuts off some of details. To be honest this was enough for me to overlook it but you’ve got me curious. I’ll see if I can find one locally to view as I do like the look of it.

i'm a big fan of the Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie Ultra Slim (don't have one, but have tried it on), but i am not digging the XII on the moonphase. at least based on pictures, the JLC still wins out.

Not all watches wear the same even being the same diameter. My Jazzmaster and Chopard are both 42, but since one is a Chronograph, it wears bigger.
