What's up with all the fake Tissot watches on eBay?

When you try to search on Tissot watches, you get loads of Chinese sellers with no history and identical stock photos. My question is why this brand in particular? I like Tissot watches, but I'd never go near buying one on eBay - or maybe anywhere else. There just seems to be too many replicas on the market that even if I were lucky enough to get a real one from a reputable seller, people might assume it to be fake just from the brand identity. Is Tissot victimized more so than other brands, and of so, why?

Maybe you should change your title to "Why is it so hard to find a proper Tissot on crap bay." thus avoiding Rule #9...a little.
    Time is relative.

    We don't discuss fakes here.

Just don't buy them, and all your problems are solved.

Probably because they are made in China...

The general answer to your question is Tissot is hugely popular in China, highly advertised and has some very "important" brand ambassadors there. Further the actual watches in question would be made in China.

No fakes discussion here. Move on please.
