I have a vintage Candino from probably the late 60's early 70's and the second hand is a neon orange colour. Does anyone know if this has any stylistic meaning?
I don't think I've ever seen it before and can't figure out if it's just the design or if maybe the watch was considered some type of sport model where the neon was chosen for visibility. The hand is not lumed, which makes me believe it's more a casual/dress watch, but the neon really confuses me.
Any guesses or insight.
