What's your ideal watch style and size for under the wrist wear?

If you wear your watch under the wrist, I would be interested in knowing what style and size of watch you find the most comfortable.

Note that this thread is isn't intended as a discussion on the merit of wearing your watch on top or under the wrist, this already has been covered in older threads.

It would have to be smaller than what I normally wear on the top of my wrist. I do at times wear my watch on the inside of the wrist, usually just to mess around with different looks and feels, and I've noticed that my normal 44mm is a little too big to be worn on the inside. I think 42mm is a much more manageable size for the inside of the wrist, for me. Smaller would even do, as when cooking I wear my G-Shock on the inside of my second wrist and that's more like 40-41mm.

How did it get so late so soon?

Wearing your watch under your wrist protects it from scratches. I would often scratch my watch when I accidentally brush my arm against a wall.
