    what's your most underrated watch?

do you have a watch that you feel is underrated or underappreciated by most of the WIS community?

if so, what is it and what makes it special to you?

Not necessarily but WISdom but certainly by me. I always forget how much I like this one until I put it on after a long break.

probably my swiss military terragraph - really love this watch and it does get decent wrist time!

My Tissot T-Touch. Has been working perfectly for I guess 5 years or so. All functions worked when I checked last. But, sorry to say, it sits beside my bed and is used as an alarm clock. The only wrist time the poor thing gets is when I go fishing, maybe once a week at most. I am a useless photographer, sorry!

My Breitling QUARTZ there, I said it.

It's a watch, it tells the time, (very well I might add) and is very sturdy.

A Movado automatic. I agree that Movado asks a premium for its quartz pieces, but I think the automatics aren't too bad considering the ETA 2890 movement -- about half what some brands ask for an ETA 2824.

Probably this Muhle Glashutte. I got this one about a year ago at a great pre-owned price. It's a very conservative looking watch in a cool 42mm size. Oh yea, it keeps chronometer time. - David

My Hamilton King Khaki Scuba, black face on SS bracelet. Granted, the 100m WR does not justify the "Scuba" part of the name -- but the look, the weight on my wrist... it's all good. I use it as a desk diver, so WR is not an issue.

For serious diving, my Citizen Eco-Drive does nothing but run well, 300m WR, and can take a beating... but still can't get any love on these forums.

    My opinion.

    Ball Engineer Master II Classic.

Its versatility never ceases to amaze me. On the OEM bracelet, its a great casual watch. On leather or gator, it's the perfect dress watch. On a MKII or Marathon rubber strap, it's a great tool watch. My favorite is the custom Franken-oyster that Ball put together for me. Tritium tubes, anti-shock, anti-magnetic, beautiful inky black dial, 40mm . . . I think it's the best, and often overlooked, "watch for any occasion." Sadly, none of my pics are worthy.

    On my 8.1" wrist

OEM Franken-oyster (I have since brushed the lugs to match)
