Wink When is it appropriate to wear a square watch?

Is it more appropriate during the day or in the evening?

It seems to get more complicated when choosing between square and retangle.

    Discuss.

Whenever you like. If you find the square/rectangle wartch case decision to be complicated, I don't suggest you take up shoe tying or falling out of bed as a hobby.

I'd be more interested in knowing if people actually thought there was an inappropriate time to wear a square watch. That would be a larf.

I am trying to comprehend how it would be complicated to decide on whether to wear a square or rectangle watch.

Do you have a specific one in mind? The watch itself matters more than the case shape. Traditionally, I haven't seen them worn with sweats but have seen with everything else.

On my (non-WIS) husband's birthday. He believes that non-round watches are an alien plot to destroy the perfect roundness of time. Guess I'm not getting that Reverso for Christmas.

I believe square watches are perfectly appropriate to wear when you're getting a wisdom tooth pulled, which is why I'm wearing one today. If it were just a routine dental cleaning, though, I'd wear a round diver-type because the square would be too formal.
