Where should I order a Christopher Ward watch from?

    Sorry for re-posting:

I am in Canada and considering a CW. What's my best option for ordering/delivery/customs etc? I have a U.S. address as well as my main Canadian address. Which site should I order from?

    Newbie says thanks!

I have used both CC and PayPal to buy from CW. I have bought from sites that only deal in $ and with the card fee my CC charge for the pleasure of buying in $ the PP exchange rate was far better.

Call them in New Hampshire, USA and they'll ship the watch from there.

For the Sale stuff, it comes directly from the U.K. so I had it shipped to Canada through Paypal. I have now bought 2 watches in 2 weeks... I hadn't bought one in 30 years before this month...uh oh. New hobby? Now I have the
    C60 Trident GMT 600 - 42mm and a Seiko Premier Kinetic.

But the Trident GMT is one hell of a sport+casual watch for the discounted price. Can't think of anything else speced similarly under 1k with service backing like CW.

Why are Rolex never half off? :(
Money can't buy you happiness. But it can buy watches.

The C60 is a great choice. I love that watch.

Re: Where should I order a Christopher Ward watch from?

You can order from any of the CW websites. Check for the best price, be it in your currency or one that needs to be converted but has a favorable exchange rate.

If you have to have a currency conversion try to use a credit card that does not charge for the conversion or if that is not possible find one that has a better conversion rate than PayPal, which is usually one of, if not the worst for that.
Some get better rates with PayPal though, as mentioned by Sticky above so do your homework on that.

Also check into the taxes/fees, etc. that you may get hit with as a Canadian. My Canadian friends have really been slammed on occasion and that is a shame.
