    White dial, blue hands

    Hi everyone,

I am looking to buy a watch with a white dial, blue hands, and brown strap. I don't want to spend more than $400, which obviously limits my options. I don't care whether it's automatic or quartz. Swiss Made would be nice, but I realize that isn't entirely likely with my budget. The watches I've been looking at so far are below. Any further suggestions would be great.

    Orient Millenium

    S. Coifman 0169

    S. Coifman 0275 (I would switch out the black strap for a brown one)

Thanks guys. I like the Orient watch, but I still prefer the Millenium. The Parnis is nice, but I don't mind spending a bit more. Any other ideas?

Those are nice, though I'm looking for leather strap.

Another option I'm considering is getting a watch like the one below, and taking it to a watchmaker to get the hands replaced / painted blue. Anyone know how much that might cost?

It would probably be easier to get a white/blue case and swap out the steel bracelet than to buy a watch with a brown strap and having the hands painted. Taken to an extreme:

$120 Parnis Power Reserve + $180 Rob Montana Strap = $300 (well under budget). Note that if you actually do this, *please* post pics =D

On a serious note - stock leather straps on sub $500 watches tend to be pretty crappy. So you would be much better off overall just buying whatever case you like regardless of strap/bracelet and getting your leather strap aftermarket. Crown and Buckle sells a variety of great leather straps online for $30-50.
Consolidation complete! Down from 17 watches to 2 grails + 3 support
Rolex Seadweller 16600 / ALS Saxonia / Casio Edifice (travel) / Hamilton Intramatic (ultra-thin dress) / Kadloo Match Race (tool)

Just as a heads up, I hadn't heard of S.Coifman, so looked the brand up out of interest. Turns out it is part of the Invicta group. Just saying.

    This.

Switching straps is nothing. The Citizen, Casio and Victorinox posted above are very nice. The Orient would also serve you well. I would not get the S. Coifman.
