    White face blue hands?

    Hi all,

I've been lurking on these forums for about a month now. Last week I pulled the trigger on an Orient Millenium. It arrived 3 days ago and I just couldn't keep my hands and eyes off it! Image stole from someone else Name: CSC_0191.jpg

A special shout-out to skywatches.com, who offered not only great customer service, but extremely fast shipping (arrived at my residence in 2 days, South Korea shipped from Singapore)

I think I've been bitten by the bug. I was doing some searching after I bought it and I stumbled upon the Seiko Spirit Blue Spark SCVS013
    It's BEAUTIFULLLLLLLLLL...everything I want in a watch...but discontinued...

However, it's been 3 years since it was discontinued, so there must have been some new releases that look similar if not identical to it.

I'm looking for something small (the Orient Millenium, while beautiful, is a tad big for my wrist), automatic, and with a white face and blue hands.

Please please please help me out!

Hi Alastor, congrats on the new watch :) i would recommend its close cousin, Orient Star. The WZ0241 EL is a classic beauty, and only 38.5mm in diameter, excluding the crown. You can sway the bracelet with leather if you like. WZ0251EL is also very pretty but without the blue hands

Do all the hands have to be blue? I'd really recommend my Grand Seiko 9S85:

This 9S55 10th Anniversary is great too:

Not quite as good a movement though.

You can still get those old Aqua Terra 2500s with blue hands easily, they're quite common, but a little overpriced in my opinion (about $2500 used). Great watches though.

I'd also look into Baume, they use a lot of blue hand/white dial combos on their watches and they're a lot more affordable than a GS.

And of course, we can't forget the classic:

The Nomos Tangente (or really almost any Nomos will fit you).

Oh, forgot to mention the great new Citizen Signature Automatic:

This, along with the (more expensive) Nomos are probably the best values. This one is under $1000 MSRP, so maybe 800-750 after discount.

    Great suggestion.

Ball has a few more traditional RR watches that fit also. Both are from the trainmaster series and feature enameled dials and tritium lume.

The 60 Seconds II is stunning:

White face blue hands? No discussion is complete without the one and only IWC Portuguese:

And it's distant cousin, the Parnis Power Reserve Automatic. Yours for only £45/$70:

Thank you all for your suggestions.
Unfortunately I should've put my parameters in the first post.
I'm looking for something 99% similar to the Seiko Blue Spark in terms of size, weight, cost, etc.
    size- diameter 36-38 mm
    cost- 100-300 USD
    with blue hands.

I'm on a budget right now as I'm fresh out of college and working my first real job. Need to look professional yet classy.

    Thanks all!
