Why is my Tudor Submariner watch dial differnet

I recieved this watch 20 + years ago as a sales award. I don't know anything about it. How do I find out what model it is. I notice it has 3 pie shapes on the dial?

Perhaps a photo of the dial would help. I see no pie shapes from the photo you have posted. It looks like a nice collectable piece by the way.

Might be a Tudor Sub 7919 or 7909. More pics would help. You can find some info here...

He's talking about the three triangle shaped lume at 6:00, 9:00 and 12:00.

Ok I found the original book on the watch seems it is a 790900 based on the picture and dial size.. what I called pie shape was a triangle at 12, 6, 9 it matches the picture .

Sweet watch. I wish my company would give Tudor Subs for sales awards. My conversions would sky rocket.

I think what he calls "pie shapes," we call "triangles."

I would try posting this over in the Rolex/Tudor forum. They are really knowledgeable. A lot of people love the old Tudors.
