Will a PVD/ION coated watch work on a dark brown croc?

Had my eye on a nice Seiko quartz chrono

Would a nice, curved ended, dark brown croc strap work on that?
or would the ION/PVD just look "wrong" and I'd be better of going for the plain steel version if planning on a brown croc strap?
Perhaps the orange numbers would conflict with the strap and I'd be better off going for the ION/PVD but without the orange hands?

Or the steel non PVD/ION with orange hands? :?

    In other words which combo?

    Opinions?
If you won't leave me alone, I'll find someone who will

Last I checked, black goes with everything. I collect mostly pvd/dlc watches and have quite the surplus of brown, tan, sand colored leather straps to use on them. It looks great. Try it out!

I think it would look great. My choice would be for a matte rather than polished leather finish tho.

I like brown straps on PVD. I would go with the white letters though.

I liked my old Moray on croc, but might have been better with a black dial:
