My next watch purchase will be something I'll use both at home to track time in different time zones (I work with folks across the US and in Europe), and when traveling. My budget is around $1500-2000, but more affordable is definitely under consideration. Here are some of the styles I like and I'm considering. I prefer a black face. No chronograph. Would prefer lume. (I wear my watch to bed.) I have a 7.25" wrist. Opinions or other options?
Hamilton Jazzmaster GMT Auto
Pros: Very affordable. GMT hand with Cities Bezel. Decent movement (ETA 2893).
Cons: Hour hand not a quick set. Somewhat pedestrian in decoration.
Ball Trainmaster Worldtime
Pros: Day added to complications. Rotating hours chapter ring. Good fit and finish. Tritium lume (blessing or curse, depending on your opinion).
Cons: No GMT hand (offset somewhat by the rotating hours bezel).
Alpina Alpiner 4 GMT
Pros: Quick set hour hand. Very good lume (super luminova).
Cons: Will I ever use the 360 deg bezel?
