Worried. Just a Lil' question to those who know...

    Hey all.

I got a Seiko 6105-8000 today in the mail. It was working perfectly, until it just, stopped working. I shaked it and the hand struggles to move. But it kind of stuck. I don't know the service history of it. Any suggestions? Should it just be a regular service?

It's an automatic, yes? Could be any number of things. Have you jarred it recently?

yes, It's an auto. And I wore it as soon as I got it. It was working great, out of nowhere, I looked to see what time it was, and it was stopped at 6:30, while it was 8:00.

If you don't know the service history and it's a 5 year old or older model, take it in for a COA. Most veterans figure in an additional set amount for each purchase (mine is $200) to cover service, parts, new strap, crystal, etc.

    It's a Late 196o's Seiko 150 Divers...

Any recommendations on good watchmakers here in WUS? I rather send it to someone who knows about this type of watches, rather that sloppy watchmaker I have down here.

I already have a new strap for it coming in. I just want a service and a new crystal. I like the patina on the lume dots
