    Which would you buy

I need some help choosing, haven't made my mind up which watch to buy:
    Zenith Class Elite Moonphase or
    JLC Grande Master Ultra Thin

I'm kind of leaning towards the JLC

    Any suggestions?

I'd get the JLC. Great watch, classy and classic. The Zenith isn't an ugly watch by any means, but it when I saw your picture it just 'bothered' me. It lacks symmetry and consistency. Let me illustrate:

JLC...I may be biased because a certain JLC has always been a grail of mine, but I think they produce some of the finest watches in the world...here is some background on the Ultra Thin http://www.timezone.com/library/horologium/horologium0028

The conclusion section of that article sums it up very well in my opinion...gl

They are different types of watches so it makes it difficult.

The Zenith has two handy complications on a detailed dial and the JLC is fantastically spartan.

The only thing to do is buy both.

JLC. I like simple dials on dress watches.

And that movement is a peach!

Well said. At least with watches, unlike wives, you can have more than one.

At a time. That JLC is a knockout. Is that platinum?

The JLC appeals to me a lot more.

    personally, Zenith, but:

Zenith: more "fun factor", but i'm a sucker for moonphase.

    JLC: seriously classic.

I almost bought that exact Zenith, which is a stunning watch. Then, it dawned on me: If I am going to spend that kind of money on a Zenith - It better be the El Primero movement.

I ended up going for a GO Moonphase.

JLC is a classic. But I would go for the Zenith. It has more character. There is something about the Guilloche dial and off center layout that is appealing. PM me if you go the Zenith route - I can recommend a good AD.

Well said - not anything more to add. Between these two, JLC all the way.
