Would you buy a "Smart Watch" (iWatch, Pebble, etc)?

A lot of talk lately about Apple, Samsung, LG, etc developing smart watches.

It wouldn't replace any of my real watches but I could see myself buying it anyway for fun.

So the question is: Would you buy a "Smart Watch"?

I doubt it. Sounds like the answer to a problem I don't have.

Not a chance. I haven't even warmed up to the idea of an Eco-Drive, Precisionist, or G-Shock yet... I'll wait until they can implant the chip in my head. Besides I don't need one because I'm a replicant.

Depends on the functions. I may wear it on my right hand if really useful.

Never ever ever ever ever, the mechanical element is what I like about watches.

Much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE my mechanical marvels, I do enjoy my toys as well. I'm not saying yes or no just yet. But if it's something that will make life easier to manage, it's a definite possibility. I'll have to see just what Apple has up its horological sleeve.......

No, but it's because I dislike the design of the current smart watches. If there was one that I found attractive, I might get it for fun.
