Which would you pick if you were me -20 year Anniversary watch soon.

    ^^ clicky ^^

Here in the next few months I must pick one of the watches, what would you recommend? I am leaning to the Milgouss as I really don't like the standard Rolex look with the date window. I typically wear vintage watches such as Zentih, Longines, Omega, Bulova or chronographs (even have a Minerva I am restoring) or just about every other brand BUT a Rolex. All my watches are flea market finds that I have never paid more than $50 for, I also have learned to service my own watches just to keep all these bargains running.

NOTE: I actually have my 25 years in this November but due to some weird crap I did not get my 20 year watch at 20 years but have to wait until 25 years.

Here are a few of my watches so you can get an idea of what I normaly wear.

Unfortunately many of the folks at work do just that, in fact there is a watch dealer nearby that will pay cash for the 002 Rolex with Jubilee band. I myself am not sure I could do that as you can see I love watches so its the perfect gift for me, I guess one option I will probably not choose is to get the # 002 and buy two or three Vintage Rolex :)

I'd take the datejust at 004 if it had a smooth bezel. I'm not a fan of the fluted ones. So, I would choose the milgauss, or seamaster.

I'd go for the Milgauss or Sub.

I think the Submariner in black is one of the best-looking rolexes on the market.

I'd go with a Datejust (blue or silver dial... maybe two tone if that's your thing), Submariner, or Milgauss. The Datejust is not as en vogue in these forums as something like the Sub or the Milgauss, but IMO a Datejust is an absolute classic, very versatile, and too often overlooked. Plus a Datejust on a leather strap looks like it would be more in line with your taste in vintage watches, anyway.

The Milgauss strikes me as being a little more gimmicky and a little less timeless than either the Datejust or the Submariner, but it's still a really nice watch. If you're looking for something a little out of the ordinary, the Milgauss would be a fine way to go.
