Wow... So this piece of art happened

I have often preferred cleaned up bronze to that with patina. But I thought I'd try some things out and went for the hard boiled egg trick in the baggie. I did it yesterday and it was uneven, so I decided to try again today and, Holy crap, this. Looks like it came out of a jewelry store. Or that it was painted. Its magnificent.

Love it, makes me want some bronze badly. Good work.

I removed a bit in the outside lug that looked like it was spray painted silver, and more came off than I wanted, but I'm leaving it alone now.

I have been battling with getting a bronze watch or not. Such a cool way to make your watch your own!

I've owned a few bronzes and they've never stuck. In the end they were either big or the style boring. And I never got anything like this patina. It came from a refrigerated hard boiled egg, so maybe that was it? This is a more moderate size and I like the military type look.

That has been one of the biggest struggles i have had. I can not do the super thicknes that most have. The patina is something that I like though and I love how they look on a canvas strap.

I think this one would look great on a black or a green canvas. I've never owned a canvas strap, though.

I have not either, but after looking through the forums and seeing some examples, I think I'm sold. Its definitely on my list at this point.

    Not a bad forced patina.

Martu has has a solid green canvas for cheap. I use it on my Bronze.
