Wrist time vs non Wrist time.

I've tried to research this a bit, but google is not really turning up the results I want.

Would some one explain to me the difference in wearing and not wearing it.
I mean how it affects the accuracy of the watch. Does the temp change of it being on your wrist made a difference?

    Thanks in Advance.

You mean quartz watches? Take a look at the HEQ forum if you're interested in knowing about Thermocompensation.

Basically, the improvement in accuracy we're talking about is in the micro-percentages (10 to 20 sec is a really small piece of 1 year) and a consistent temperature (e.g. on your wrist) is necessary for a more stable rate because the watch is adjusted to perform best at the said temperature.
