    Yard sale scores?

So i just got back from a trip to some yard sales with my father because we had nothing else to do. I got lucky and picked out some watches, that are harder to find than you think, for 50 cents each! They arent anything special but my collection has grown nonetheless. I took a HugoMax quartz with diamonds, a vintage/fake Gucci( hopefully not) and an old Casio 300 Databank.

So my question is how many of you have ever gotten any good watches at a yard sale and for what price?

Sounds like a great day! But the icing on this day was spending time with the ol’man!

Yard sales no. But several from the indooor version of the yard sale known back east as the estate sale. In one year I picked up three 1920/1930's Hamilton pocketwatches in their original cases in lovely condition for under $50.00 each.Congratulations on the finds, especially the Casio Databank.

Estate sales are pretty good too but antique stores are the best, i recently got a nice vintage Citizen for $20!

I once bought a very rare £60000 Comx Submariner at a garage (yard) sale for £10...

Only joking! I've never bought any watches from one, if I'm honest.

    cheers,
    Jake.

My daughter found this one for free. It works fine.
Every other watch I have seen in yard sales is junk.

Well unfortunatly most watchds you find are fake and mostly Tags. Which is pretty weird.
