Here I am, doing my morning ritual of drinking my coffee with that annoying it's-too-hot sound while simultaneously yawning and watch-net-surfing. Now, I'm very difficult to please with respect to watches; but, when I do find something I like, I get ecstatic and it sticks with me. You could never of had convinced me that elegance (read: luxurious) and yellow dial were in any fashion synonymous, until this morning's pleasant discovery: the Baume et Mercier Capeland S XXL Titanium Diver. With its yellow woven kevlar dial, speaking it does little justice for the pure beaut that it is. Its engine is the acclaimed ETA 2892-A2 movement, it has a 43mm bezel (47mm with crown protector), and the rest of the appreciative details are found here from this fine-tuned review: DeskDivers.com - Baume & Mercier Capeland S XXL
I'm sure many of you have come across this watch in the past (it's been out since 2003), but as it's been so long since its debut, I think it proper to give it another shout out. Enjoy!
