    Your perfect collection?

So right now, I can say I'm pretty happy with my current lineup. I achieved my mini-grail SMP after a while of saving, and I've got some legendary affordables, and there's not really anything I'd change. I know it's important to really appreciate what you do have, as opposed to thinking about what you don't have, but as a human being, I can't help but think about what my perfect collection would be like. I think it'd be something like this:

    Rolex 6200 from 1954
    Rolex Daytona 6263
    Rolex Submariner 5513
    Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean LM
    Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch
    Seiko G757-5020
    Seiko 0674-5009
    G-Shock II DW5500

Those 8 watches add up to my perfect collection. What would be your perfect lineup?

Not perfect but I'm happy for the moment and don't anticipate any purchases until Q4 at the earliest (subject to change) ;)

    Re: Your perfect collection?

I've revised my answer. My ideal lineup would be my own personal warehouse, filled with 2 copies of every single wristwatch ever manufactured by anybody: I'd have one of each to bang around and not worry about and one to keep looking pristine. Sure, many would probably never end up being worn (due to average human life expectancy divided by average time I would wear one watch before changing to another without seeming unreasonable, and also due to the fact that, by having every single watch ever made, that would include an assortment of Invictas, Nixons, Fossils, and other brands I don't care about that I would never grant the privilege of being able to spend a single minute on my wrist), but at least I'd always have whatever watch I feel like wearing on hand and ready for whatever occasion I may need it for, which would really be the only truly perfect collection.

    Re: Your perfect collection?

I suppose it might look something like this:

    Rolex Explorer
    Omega Speedmaster Professional
    JLC Reverso
    AP Royal Oak
    Blancpain Fifty Fathoms
    tourbillon
    some sort of Patek
    Sinn U1 (beater)

I feel confident that I'll end up with the Explorer, Speedmaster, U1, and (possibly) the Reverso at some point although it will probably take a few years. I already have a tourbillon and I'll always have one around. The others are likely more dream than reality. Maybe someday if the stars align...
