Lightbulb Your profession / do for living?

    Hello,

Lets see how well this thread kicks off. Hopefully well.

Well, not my intention to cross-examinate anyone, but would be nice to know, where you people work at, or what do you do for living since you got money to buy expensive timepieces, one after another ? When reading people collecting watches, I somehow think of rich banker or stock brokers etc who have money to buy whatever they like, but is it the reality?

Personally, I am Automation Engineer. So far I managed to buy only one Speedy, and that allready drain all my extra money I had saved for long time. So taking that account, and also I dont need other timepieces, I think my Speedy is my one and only, I am not going to buy more of 'em.
Of course it would be nice to have another, but no.

It's all relative. Watch collecting is cheaper than some other hobbies. It brings tears to my eyes when I think how much money my buddy spends on his boat.
Anyway, I'm a "mountie" (Royal Canadian Mounted Police). But no, I don't ride a horse, I'm currently on a Highway Patrol unit.
The pay is pretty good, but I love what I do. I would do my job for half what I get paid. Shhh... dont' tell that to the treasury board.

Currently unemployed. And when I find myself not just being part of a national statistic, I am a Business Development Manager.

Army officer. Single, which is the only reason why I can afford so many watches.

I am a Firefighter/Paramedic. Wife owns an Early Learning Center and Private School. I take care of her facility (5 acres and 5 buildings) which keeps me busy on my days off. She pays me a salary as well.
