    Zeno Basel Watch

Ok guys... I have a few Zenos. I really like them and have seen some posts here and there around the web. I like the fact that they use a little nicer ETA movement and they are at least final assembled in Basel. Also that they are reasonably priced and the ones I have seem to be quality built

Im interested to know how many other guys on here own them and peoples thoughts on the brand.

I like some of their designs, but what's with the mineral crystals?

I only have one, a Zeno Seahunter LE, and can only comment on this one.

The ETA 2824-2 is just a plain and standard grade. Gain and loss are acceptable. The case is.......well....nothing than average, so are dial and hands. Nothing spectacular or really exiting. A common swiss watch though. Quality built ? Well...average again I'd say.

That is one thing I wish they would move to is Sapphire Crystals. I think they do it to keep in a certain price range.

I do agree that some of them use a 2824-2 but the ones I have use 2892 2893 and others. They have more of a classic look on the pilots and other models. I dont have any of their divers and do agree that they look pretty boring. When I say quality I refer to a great eveyday watch that you can rely on and is a great value for what you get.

I have a few vintage Omegas and a vintage Rolex but I cant wear those everyday so I turn to Zenos,Hamiltons,Glycines.... I do plan on picking up an Omega Speedmaster and Breitling this year as I plan on stepping up a few notches.

    Thanks for you replys!
