    ???? for Zeno Explorer owners...

    Afternoon all-
I am looking at the purchase of a Zeno Explorer but my only concern is the size of the hands. In the pictures I have seen the hands appear very thin and small in contrast to the size of the dial. How do you owners feel about this?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Stan,
I don't own one, but from the pics I see what you mean. The minute hand, in particular, looks proportionately small to me. The watch would look a lot better with more proportionate hands, IMO.
    Cheers,

Not an owner, but the hands seem to be in the right proportion (case dimensions are 35mm diameter and 13mm height). Similar hands on the Invicta 8926 and the Sandoz Explorer. There´s a nice review on watcharama: http://www.watcharama.com/zenoexp.htm

Just be sure it's a "real" ZENO-- be wary of any not specifically labeled

    This is from http://www.zeno-watch.ch/en/Warning/...mitations.html

    Warning from Imitations

It has come to our attention that cheap imitations of ZENO-WATCH BASEL

We would like to emphases that these watches have NOT been manufactured by
ZENO-WATCH BASEL and warn against the purchase of counterfeits.
Legal action is being taken against the suppliers.

Following the link provided is leading to:

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Hope this link will work (better): http://www.zeno-watch.ch/en/Warning/...mitations.html

One could consider upgrading the Z-X with a Yao dial and hands.

I went all the way, though, and have had mine upgraded to tritium vials:

I do own one, and sincerely, I do not think that there's a problem concerning the hands... It's basically the same size as in the original Rolex, and it's quite readable !

It's my sports/vacation watch, and I really appreciate it... I chose the ETA version.
