    145.022 ST-71

What if I can buy ref. 145.022 ST-71 ... Would that be a wise thing to do?

Everything seems to be matching; stepped dial, correct bracelet, etc., but unfortunately no papers, no box.

I love the model and the age of the watch, that goes without saying...

Why the single, oddly cropped photo?

As to if it's "wise", well, not much to go on... but if a good example at a good price and you like vintage... then absolutely! I'd like to add a Speedy from the "moon era" someday.

This is excellent advice. Even agree on the photo. Hiding the 90 on the bezel.

Price and condition will help determine whether it’s wise or not.

Why worry about the bezel? It's not going to be a DON on a '71.

Watch has been relumed (or this is a nos service dial) and new hands. Not the best example but if the price is adjusted accordingly...maybe.

Correct bracelet you say? Top endlink seems missing and there's nothing on the bottom

+1 the bracelet looks like crap. This ship is sinking fast.

What makes you so sure it's a relume? Or even a service dial.

The lume is very white for tritium of this age. The OP might be able to confirm this with a simple question but he seems to be MIA now.

Any other watch and I would agree with you, But the lume on early 70's speedmaster dials more often than not turn a greenish white, rather than the more usual yellow brown seen on earlier and later dials.
The OP's photo doesn't really help, but here is another dial to compare.
