Omega makes a great diver, The legibility under water is why I prefer Omega divers.

Does anyone know this new 300m chronograph's thickness or height of the case as it sits on the wrist in MM? THX!

I've always thought the idea of a chrono-diver is kinda counter-intuitive. In addition, most of the chronograph Seamaster I've seen so far seems very busy.

Re: 300m chrono - who likes it?

I personally like dive watches, my daily wear watch is a diver, and I have two in my collection. I also like chronograph, I have two in my collection that I wear in rotation. My collection is small with two divers, two chronograph, and one dress watch. I hate the idea of making a dive watch chronograph. It just doesn’t make any sense to me. A dive watch by definition needs to have oversized legible dial markers, the small sub-dials of a chronograph just don’t make sense on a diver. I am kind of old fashioned, I like classic dive watches, and classic chronograph, the idea of morphing the two together is not appealing to me.

I like it but it offers no more design wise than my 2599.80 and i find the coaxials too big and not pleasing with that size.
Horrij1..I use a chronograph for timing deco stops so they have value. Though i have now replaced the Omega for diving with a Tag Aquagraph which is superb for the purpose with a far better handset and large seconds and minute hand for easy reading.

a few years ago. The great thing about Omega diver chronographs is that they ARE able to be operated under water.
